Ever since I played Eclipse Ball for the first time about 10 years ago, I have been hooked! My kids look forward to and love their Eclipse Ball and Satryan Ball units every year. The games are a blast, challenging - yet easy to learn, and different from anything else they've ever done. I enjoy teaching (and playing) all of the games that Eclipse Ball has come up with over the years and would encourage any PE teacher in k-12 to discover what Eclipse Ball can do for students and their programs.

Eclipse Ball is a wonderful net game that keeps the entire class involved at all times. Unskilled players become skilled players quickly with continuous repetition. There is not as much stopping and starting like in tennis or volleyball. What a great game.

Students at Benton High School love Eclipse Ball. It's a great activity with 2-6 per team. Guys like it as much as girls, and once the unit is over they always ask to play it again later in the year.

To incorporate, you just need the ball and equipment you already have. Kids love to press the rules. It becomes difficult to keep teams from calling " play it" to keep the game going . High Intensity. Great fitness activity. Try two balls at the same time and get crazy, so watch out. Kids just want to play.
